Expectations: Experience of delivering sports activities for children that have Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

Charlotte Boylan at CER Education is pleased to be recruiting for a Sports Graduate that will be based in an EBD school in Wigan.

The school are looking for a candidate who can bring experience with planning and organising sports activities for children in a school in Wigan that facilitate for children that have SEMH difficulties. With an understanding of SEMH difficulties, and experience with challenging behaviours. A calm and nonejudgemental approach is desirable. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of staff who work to transform the lives of young people with behaviour and social difficulties, within a school that has outstanding facilities to accommodate for Physical Activities.

They are looking to assign a Sports Graduate to assist in the delivery of physical activities and exercise to help encourage participation for the health and wellbeing of the pupils.

The school are looking for:

Graduate in sports
An inclusive approach to ensure equal opportunities for all pupils
Fun & a love for being active
Inclusive and specialist awareness when planning physical activity sessions for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.
Provide a positive and encouraging environment
Remain calm in heated situations
Deescalating skills
