Sponsorship Sales/Business Development Manager
Our client has three lines of business spanning across healthcare (and other) markets. 1) Conferences - running pioneering life-science, augmented technology or other industry leading conferences. 2) Data - Owning a world class data, research & insight platform providing clinical intelligence to help shape the R&D/Pharmaceutical industry. 3) Events - working with similar clients in a variety of spaces, our client has a bespoke events management offering.
Recently voted in The Times as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK the company was established in 2008 and has experienced year on year high growth recently. They now have a very clear strategy for the next phases of building a world class conference business.
Due to growth, or client is now looking for future business development managers to drive the conference section. In this role youll be responsible for generating sponsorship sales revenue across their cutting edge business conferences.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a B2B sales environment with a track record of out performing targets.

We'll offer a competitive basic to reflect your experience and an uncapped commission structure which will realistically bring your earnings to between 40K-45K in year one. Earning potential will grow year on year."
In this role youll be responsible for selling sponsorship packages to C-Level within pharma, legal/compliance, construction, and oil and gas events. Drawing on your rounded business ability to generate new business, youll reach out to international, senior decision makers using a consultative sell approach, offering opportunities to grow their business.
Youll be an integral part of the team working closely with marketing, operations and production to ensure high quality delivery of your events. In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will attend your own events across Europe and USA.
The successful candidate will be
Degree educated with B2B sales experience
Extremely professional with a quick thinking, commercial mind
Genuinely passionate about business and sales proud to attract new clients and closing creative deals
Highly motivated and driven to succeed in the world of business
A fast learner whos driven by continuously developing your own knowledge and skills
