About the job
We have a number of exciting opportunities to join us as at our processing offices based at Lingfield Point, Darlington. You will be supporting Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) customers by assessing their eligibility for support, reimbursing any agreed expenditure and effectively handling any enquires by phone, email or letter.
Youll be working as part of the team that determines students entitlement to financial support. This will involve assessing applications, so that an accurate decision on their eligibility can be made. Youll be reviewing complex medical or diagnostic evidence and make informed decisions on eligibility for DSA. You will need to capture the information provided onto bespoke processing systems following specific processes and guidance material.
Whilst disability awareness is desirable, previous experience isnt required for these roles whats more important is that youre computer literate and have a
high attention to detail, with excellent
communicationskills. You must be confident in using Microsoft PC packages including
Excel, and hold both Maths and English at GCSE level or above (or equivalent).

These roles are offered for those interested in full time work working 4pm 12am Monday to Friday on a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract
