Digital Product Portfolio Manager Commercial Systems
Unique opportunity to join a major, wellknown British group organisation in the Senior post of Digital Commercial Product Manager, as they transition to a new Digital, Product focused, centralised group IT operating model. As the Digital Product Manager for the Commercial Product Portfolio you will provide leadership and strategic management of a portfolio of Digital Products, servicing all group businesses.
Applications within the Commercial Digital Product Portfolio include systems spanning Retail, Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing including CX and Back Office systems, platforms and wider enterprise integrations.
This is a highly strategically influential position, in both the delivery of Information Technology and the commercial direction of the group.
Main responsibilities will revolve around;
Working with business stakeholders to set the product vision, strategy and roadmap based on business outcomes, continually monitoring and refining products and services to ensure they remain relevant and supporting of objectives
Build and maintain relationships across the group businesses to develop, promote and drive adoption of commercial products
rd party suppliers closely, influencing and ensuring that product roadmaps align with supplier roadmaps.
Utilise research and analysis to drive competitive advantage, identifying opportunities and developing product strategies to continually deliver measurable value for the group
Drive convergence across the product portfolio. Consolidating the application portfolio to reduce the currently very high percentage of single instances in existence across group companies.
Benefits realisation; define, monitor and communicate KPIs, promoting product benefits
Support M&A activity by providing product knowledge, insight into market trends etc
Work closely with other Product Portfolio Managers (Operation, Customer etc) leverage capabilities, manage dependencies, align strategies etc

To be successful, applicants will require:
Previous Application / Digital Product or Product Portfolio Management experience
Experience of doing so in largescale group or federated organisations
A strong commercial acumen, with experience of managing commercial business and/or CX digital products
A deep understanding of digital / application technologies and platforms
Supplier management experience
Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of driving application consolidation
Strong experience of business and financial modelling and management of budgets
Excellent communication skills and the ability to selfmanage and influence at senior levels
