My client based in Stevenage is looking for a number of Finance Assistants for their team. Your role will be to deliver financial support, undertake administrative tasks and to carry out transactional processes accurately and efficiently within the team as required.
To apply for the role you will be a highly motivated individual, capable of developing professional relationships with all stakeholders, including suppliers, service users and budget managers. You will have experience of working in a team environment and have excellent communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicating either verbally, on the telephone and by letter with a variety of stakeholders including service users, providers and across the organisation, tailoring the information to suit all levels. You will also demonstrate the ability to deal with difficult telephone conversations.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of financial processes and procedures. You will be competent at keeping accurate manual and computer records which you will be able to interpret. You will demonstrate the ability to work to and apply all relevant policies and procedures.
You will possess good IT skills and experience of working with large data bases is desirable as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft office applications especially excel. Knowledge of SAP would also be beneficial.
