Trainee Configuration Analyst

Link Fund Solutions are an industry leading international company looking for a Junior SAP configuration analyst to join our team! The role will include shadowing a senior consultant in aspects of BAU and project delivery, including build, testing and support, analysis and documentation. You will primarily perform configuration in SAP FI/CO and be working with the ABAP developer and Business teams and performing the following activities:
Setting up new companies, incl. house banks, profit centres and GL’s
-Creating and maintaining Customers and Vendors
-Testing all areas of the process including loading interfaces, creating documents, payment runs, DME outputs to third parties, reconciliations etc
-Working with a developer to complete project and BAU tasks
-Responding to business driven changes in regulations and updating the system accordingly
-In accordance with our organization's commitment to continuous improvement, help improve our processes
-Will be responsible for analyzing high-level business processes and requirements
-Participate in project quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents, and config reviews
-Participate in Finance systems related projects and small change initiatives.
-Proactively monitor data integrity and quality and resolve issues as they arise.
-Continue to develop knowledge of businesses processes and controls.
Essential Skills, Capabilities and Experience
A practical knowledge of accounting concepts and reporting issues.
-SAP FI – General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank Accounting
-SAP CO – General Controlling, Profit Centre accounting
-Good understanding of business process flows in FI
-Sound communication and interpersonal skills.

-Flexible and responsive, able to work to tight deadlines.

Degree qualification preferred (eg. Accounting, IT information systems)
