We're looking for a positive and outgoing team leader for our backpackers hostel, with a passion for creating great guest experience. You will predominantly work at reception however being part of our guest services team involves work in all guest facing areas covering Bar, Reception and Events. Minimum 37.5 hours (5 shifts) per week guaranteed.We believe in providing an outstanding guest experience for city explorers. Founded by two sisters who share a genuine love for travel, ClinkHostels is an innovative, fast-growing hostel business that currently has two locations in London totaling 800 beds and ClinkNOORD in Amsterdam. As a hostel team leader you will be the face of Clink, leading from the front and ensuring that every guest has an awesome experience and some amazing travel memories when they leave. As a team leader your duties would include (but are not limited to) supporting the team through day to day operations, managing guest enquiries, liaising with our reservations team to provide a smooth guest journey, promoting and maintaining company policy and procedure, providing exceptional training and coaching, ensuring you and your team on shift hit their sales and upsell targets, promoting the bar and hostel events, managing guest review responses, ensuring we are compliant and adhering to all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and licensing objectives, managing stock and cash handling and ensuring the security and safety of your guests.
The services provided by the Department form the essence of our guests experience as the reception, bar and events on offer are there to create lasting memories of their time in London. The team provide guests with a warm, welcoming and entertaining experience whilst at the hostels and also help to shape their visit to London with in-tune recommendations.It goes without saying that meeting, greeting and attending to guests needs are the day to day of this role but Clink team are also champions of local knowledge and know all the best places to be in their City. Of course, preparing drinks in the bar, checking in guests and answering the phone on reception is important but you and your team on shift need to be equally as happy to pick up the microphone on karaoke night and help the tired traveller with finding a bite to eat! Whilst Clink Team are proud to wear their uniform sometimes that might be a fancy dress outfit for that nights party... It's a varied role where most days are different but every day involves interacting with guests and creating positive experiences.We need you to have some customer facing experience at supervisory level and some hospitality experience would be great too.
