Functional Skills Maths & English Lecturer
£15 - £20 per hour + Plus Statutory Holiday Pay
We are working with a national social justice charity to recruit an experienced Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor to teach disadvantaged young people in Chatham. This role is to start as soon as possible for a minimum of three months, full time hours Monday to Friday.
Role responsibilities To teach entry level to level 2 Functional Skills Maths & English To motivate and inspire young people aged 1619 years with challenging behaviour Carry out assessments of learners Create support plans and regularly monitor these
The person & qualifications A recognised teaching qualification Previous teaching experience Experience in guiding a diverse group of students Knowledge of City & Guilds and AQA curriculum Ability to identify preferred learning styles Ability to engage with difficult to reach young people
