This is an opportunity to join a global insurance technology leader as they create their next generation products. In this role you will...
Design, Implement, Refactor and test code (C#, WPF)
Contribute to the development of test frameworks and develop unit/integration/system/UI test cases
Review and debug code to identify defects and performance bottlenecks
Work closely with test engineers to ensure suitable test coverage able to execute manual tests if necessary
Work with product owners to help create User Stories and acceptance criteria
Potentially mentor or even line manage more junior members.
Strong software/object oriented skills, ideally with C# but if you are a super star in something similar such as (Java, Python or C++) and follow SOLID principles then please do apply.
Youll need to have a good appreciation of UX principles, working alongside UX designers
Agile/Scrum, Extreme programming, Git, CI/CD, in a commercial/production environment
Ability to design high performance, scalable software architectures and algorithms
High level of numeracy, ideally degree educated 1st / 2:1 in a relevant discipline (Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics)
