About the job

Excellent job opportunity for an experienced Care Co-ordinator to work with one of the UK�s leading healthcare company. As a Co-ordinator you assist the branch manager in being responsible for and managing the day-to-day running of part/all of the services provided by the branch.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of �19,000 per annum plus other great benefits.
Role Responsibility
To be a good role model for all employees, being approachable and available as well as being consistent in all actions and decisions.
� To assist the branch manager to set and maintain clear standards of service user support in line with Shaw healthcare�s quality assessment tool.
� To assist the branch manager to ensure that staff selection processes for all employees are applied thoroughly and that all candidates are treated professionally.
� To assist the branch manager to develop a culture of continuous quality improvement based on Organisational Philosophy.
� To arrange a comprehensive induction process for all new employees and to assist the branch manager to ensure they are effectively introduced to the service, its values and aims, the service users and good care practices within their first week.
� To assist the branch manager to conduct regular reviews with new employees during their probationary period and conduct a three monthly appraisal followed by a six month review to confirm the appointment or extend the probation.
� To assist the branch manager to ensure all staff are annually appraised and that required standards of performance are being achieved; to manage under-performance through objective setting and regular reviews.
� To identify individual or service led training needs in line with the branch�s objectives, service user requirements and employee�s performance.
� Arrange statutory and non statutory training within budget and assist the branch manager to evaluate its effectiveness and value.
� To hold regular staff and service user meetings to provide and receive feedback.
� To ensure complaints and suggestions are positively actioned and dealt with correctly.
� To maintain own professional competence and ensure that other staff do so.

To be considered for this role you must hold QCF qualification Minimum of level 2
