About the job
We at Protocol are recruiting for a fantastic independent college in the Central London area. You will join a fun and diverse team to deliver the Beauty Therapy courses at levels 13 on a fulltime permanent basis ensuring student progress is the primary focus within this post.
You will be responsible and accountable for managing a number of learners in the capacity of a lecturer, tutor and assessor. You are there to support and guide learners at all times, ensuring that learning is fun, interesting, relevant, challenging and appropriate, at the same time developing their English and maths skills based on their starting point and individual needs.
The person & qualifications
Level 3 qualification in relevant subject area
Teaching qualification/ or willingness to obtain designated teaching qualification within 12 months.
Assessors qualification: CAVA/A1/equivalent, or willingness to work towards to obtain within probation period
An indepth and practical knowledge of relevant subject
Knowledge of current qualification structure
An understanding of British Values and how to promote these within teaching
Ability to communicate with a range of learners on theoretical and practical aspects of the programme
Ability to lead learners to the successful completion of their programme
