BACK OF HOUSE ASSISTANT
Solent Forts are looking for an enthusiastic and positive
Back of House Assistant who takes pride in the presentation of their working environment, ensuring the highest possible standard achieved and maintained. This position would suit someone who has a passion to work, is self-motivated and enjoys working with people.
Start dates available from 1st February 2019.
Due to the Forts unique location, candidates must be able to travel by boat for a journey lasting up to an hour.
The Back of House Assistant role involves a range of duties including:
To work closely with the Front of House Manager to ensure hotel bedrooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard every day.
Complete all allocated tasks within the time frame without compromising standards.
To assist with the Kitchen Porter Duties to ensure that the kitchen equipment, crockery. Cutlery etc are clean and stored correctly
To report any guest request or room maintenance as required.
Housekeeping experience is preferred, however, not essential as full training will be given.

Our hotels operate 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays. You will be contracted to work 1565 hours per year, where the number of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Usual working hours will be 8:00am to 4:30pm, however there may be a requirement to work outside these times (including evenings) due to business needs and boat scheduling.
