Location: Crossflatts, Bingley

Salary: £15,000£16,000 plus quarterly bonus

Hours of work: Monday Friday between 8am6pm, approx 3 Saturdays a year

Contract: Permanent

Join our team of Contact Centre Associates

Were currently recruiting talented and enthusiastic people to join our Mortgage Operations team in Crossflatts, working with a cross section of our mortgage customers. This team are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, dealing with account queries and payment requests from both customers and 3rd parties. As a Customer Service Advisor you will play an essential role in delivering excellent service and implement improvements to accurately determine the customer needs and identify the most appropriate solution.

Your part in our team

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving team and work as a member of the contact centre associates, assisting colleagues when required. You will need to have a good listening ear and ensure you question appropriately to fully understand the customers financial situation, ensuring that arrears are prevented where appropriate.

Taking ownership of individual customer enquiries is important to us and shows we are here to help. Regular liaison with operational colleagues will be necessary to ensure customer queries are dealt with promptly and accurately.

Whether you bring with you experience of working in a customer service role or can show an ability to learn and develop these skills, it will be your positive attitude to work and your desire to display the very best behaviours to colleagues and customers that will make you perfect for us.

During the selection and training process we will assess which role you are best suited to, however as we are a flexible organisation it is likely that you will work across both areas throughout your career with us. In return for all your dedication, well give you the support you deserve, continually develop your skills by cross training within the department and share techniques, tools and skills.

Your experience

For us, your personality and your life experience are of the up most value. We look for effective communication skills and an ability to handle customer account queries professionally and efficiently in a contact centre environment. Having experience in a customer service position is ideal, but its not essential.

As a successful candidate, youll be able to understand and work through customers individual circumstances, moving towards positive outcomes in challenging situation.

Ideal candidates will be those who thrive on building strong and effective working relationships, who can be both assertive and sensitive at the same time and who, at all times, respect our customer needs.

You will also have:

5 GCSEs Grade AC (or equivalent) including Maths and English (or two years relevant work experience)

Experience of customer focused work in either a facetoface or telephony environment

Effective team player

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Have a good eye for quality and attention to detail

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word)
