About the job
As Senior Analytics Manager you will be leading a small team to build the analytics function up, the focus will on the most part be risk related, however, you will get involved in some marketing and wider commercial strategy as well. This will be a fastpaced, highly challenging position that will see you work closely with the CEO to drive your ideas and drive forward the business. The majority of your week will be focused on handson analysis, helping the business make the right decisions on strategy and driving that forward.
The rest of your time will be split between financial modelling and commercial strategy, such as new market entries, new products etc. Given the size and maturity of the current company, the role holder will be expected to challenge and drive change continuously, and be passionate about the potential of the business. If youre growing frustrated in a big corporate and feel like youre ready for the change, then this opportunity is hugely exciting.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will likely have the following skills and experience:
Educated to a degree level in a numerate discipline (mathematics, statistics, economics)
Proven experience as an analytics leader
Strong Credit Risk experience, demonstrable time within portfolio and wider risk strategy throughout career
Proven hands on experience with SAS and SQL throughout career
Exposure to startups ideal
Passionate about data and its ability to drive strategies
