About the job

Do you have the ability to quickly building relationships with students that are struggling to engage in education?

Are you able to understand students interests and motivations to make education relevant to them?

Celsian Education is working in partnership with a growing number of primary schools in the Mansfield area, who require Behaviour Support Assistants to work on both part and fulltime longterm assignments.

You will work on a 1:1 basis with a select number of pupils in Primary schools, who are struggling to engage in education. You will work with the class teacher and Inclusion Manager to help plan and deliver IEPs for students in your care.

Celsian Education work with a number of schools exclusively in North Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, meaning we can introduce you to a number of schools that use us on a regular basis, giving you the ability to build longterm relationships with schools and feel a part of their valued staffing team. We pride ourselves on our ability to understand our candidate and clients needs, meaning we regularly introduce staff to schools that they thrive in.


Be confident, passionate and highly motivated

Strong behaviour management

Qualification: Teaching Assistant, Psychology degree or Health and Social Care NVQ

A passion for education

The ability to demonstrate a consistent level of teaching support to facilitate the classroom teachers delivery of lessons

A Team Teach certification would be desirable but not essential

Confidence to provide personal care beneficial but not essential
