Are you an experienced Bid Manager, who has a track record of successfully winning contracts with local authority / public sector? Were recruiting a Bid Manager / Proposals Manager to join our client who are a provider of care services for vulnerable adults. The Bid Manager is responsible for maximising opportunities for growth across the organisation, identifying tender opportunities and managing the entire tender writing process from inception to submission. Youll need to have experience as a Bid Manager / Tender Manager / Senior Bid Coordinator, managing tenders for local authority / public sector before. On offer is an attractive salary of £37,000 £40,000.
The Bid Manager / Proposals Manager role
Working for a wellestablished care provider, youll be an integral part of the companys growth and development. The Bid Manager is responsible for the management of multiple complex tender processes throughout the year, from inception to completion working with the wider team to ensure that tenders are accurate, cost effective and competitive.
Key responsibilities will include;
Identify ongoing and new tender opportunities via eprocurement sites and through developing a thorough awareness of the market
Summarising tender opportunities to the SMT and facilitating timely yes/no bid decisions.
Manage the entire tender writing process from inception to submission, ensuring timely submission of highquality, wellwritten and wellpresented tenders.
Attend tender meetings and maximise opportunity to network with industry professionals
Develop positive working relationships with local authority procurement /contracts teams
The Successful Bid Manager
Were looking for an experienced BID Manager, Senior BID coordinator / Senior BID Writer. Youll need to have at least 3 years experience in a bid writing environment, winning tenders to the local authority / public sector
It is highly desirable that its within health and social care
Youll be assertive, confident and a proactive individual who has experience of research and analysis, report writing and the ability to review and analyse complex contract and tender documentation.
Youll have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional approach.
Ideally, youll be qualified to degree level, and essentially, youll possess excellent written English skills
