About the job
Our client, a leading planning and design consultancy, based in Manchester, is currently hiring for an Branch Secretary to provide ongoing receptionist, secretarial and PA support to the Partner and planning team members.
PA duties to the Partner (including confidential matters) and general administrative support to the wider team
Being proactive and working on initiative to organise appointments, workloads and meetings
Client interface dealing with client enquiries
Help organise marketing, conference calls and client events (including booking events and diarising for team)
Keeping track of team business development / networking events and ensuring these are diarised
New staff inductions
Liaising and meeting with Health & Safety consultants
Fire Marshall/First Aider (if required)
Liaison with Building Management
Proof reading correspondence and reports
Updating Partner CPD log
Liaison with external printing company, ensuring team documents are printed correctly
Has proven experience of performing a similar role in a fastpaced professional environment (property sector experience would be advantageous)
Has strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Can use their own initiative and work independently to manage their workload, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Has a strong team capability
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Has strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Is a selfstarter and committed to providing a high level of service
This position is on a fixed term contract for 6 months, working full time, MondayFriday, 8.30am5.00pm.
