Reference: A4215Description: The School of Health Professions offers a range of health programmes with a commitment to interprofessional collaboration in teaching with evidence-based research at the core of our delivery.
The programme has developed excellent partnerships with our colleagues in practice across the South West which is critical for ensuring quality experiences for our students on placement. The team are committed to the advancement of the podiatry profession and influencing policy development. The school has a strong reputation for teaching and learning and this is reflected in the Podiatry Team research activity, alongside a growing clinical research portfolio sitting within a rapidly developing research capability across the School of Health Professions.
You will have expertise and experience in one or more field of podiatry practice, specifically nail surgery, wound care and/or rheumatology. We are looking for individuals who have a strong interest in innovative ways of delivering the curriculum and who can demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
In addition to these qualities, an enthusiasm for undertaking research is essential. You will have, or be working towards, a higher degree in a relevant subject; alternatively suitably qualified candidates will be encouraged to register for an appropriate higher degree as part of their personal development plan.
