Health and Safety Manager London
Salary £40,000 £50,000 experience depending
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to become a Health and Safety Manager for one of the UKS leading estate agents and letting companies. You will be required to aid in the provision of technical Health and Safety advice and auditing services across a broad portfolio of commercial properties in the South mainly based in Central London. You will be expected to work in an autonomous and dynamic way to manage both the Health and Safety and Site Security on a daily basis. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong ability to think creatively to help solve several complex and critical problems that may arise with the clients and to grow the compliance culture within the division.
Your Purpose as the Health and Safety Manager will be to evaluate workplace safety through organising and driving both the health and safety and site security compliance throughout the business, ensuring property management risk register is updated with the results of any audits or risk assessments. Develop Policies, Procedures and Processes for health and safety and site security whilst providing Health and Safety and Site training.
Your Key responsibilities will include;
Ensuring all managed sites comply with Health and Safety and Site Security legislative and regulatory policy requirements.
Identify Health and Safety and Security hazards implementing any controls to manage them.
Provide management review support to clients, the Head of Operational risk and Operational Management team through analysis of compliance KPIs and incident trends.
Minimise workplace accidents.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, managers and employees.
Safeguard any client assets minimising the loss of materials and costs arising,
Contribute to the compliance management system.
Assist Personnel through face to face meetings, via phone and by email.
Assist in the production of Health and Safety documents.
Assist clients, suppliers and site managers to achieve compliance with national legislation.
Produce safety documents and training records.
Complete risk assessments and accident investigations
Attend client meetings were required.
Track compliance performance of suppliers.
To be Successful in this role as a Health and Safety Manager;
NEBOSH Health and Safety Diploma
Experience in ISO Auditing
Relevant membership IOSH, IIRSM, IFE
Working knowledge of the safety industry with property management.
Experience in Property Management
Accredited auditing course
