In this role, you can have the best of both being highly technical and having ownership over cuttingedge products. They are looking for someone to be a senior member in a brandnew team that will champion a datadriven approach to all business decisions. You will be working closely with teams across other business areas and communicating technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Science Product manager, you will remain very technically hands on in projects, whilst being encouraged to lead your own research into creating tailored solutions to technical problems in deep learning and AI.
Working with large data sets, building advanced statistical and machine learning models to analyse how customers are using their product and producing insights off the back of this
Applying advanced predictive modelling and machine learning techniques, in Python, to large data sets to set up forecasting
Researching and Experimenting with cuttingedge machine learning techniques using Python
Using SQL for data manipulation
As a Data Science Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering these insights back to nontechnical management and stakeholders to improve customer acquisition and therefore revenue
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MS or PhD in a quantitative field or statistics (STEM, Econometrics, etc.)
Strong experience developing and implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms in a nonacademic setting
Experienced in statistical modelling, Bayesian modelling or other statistical methodologies
Expert in deep learning methodologies:
Experience with NLTK, Gensim, SpaCy, CoreNLP; Machine Translation experience a plus
Comfortable using neural networks, RNN, CNN, ANN, etc
Proven leader having managed data science teams previously
Knowledge of Big Data packages a plus, Hadoop, Spark, Hive or others
Thorough communicator with technical team, clients and C level management
