Long O Donnell are currently looking for an Internal Recruiter / Recruitment Coordinator. This role would ideally suit either an Internal/In-house Recruiter looking for a new challenge an Agency Recruitment Consultant/Account Manager looking to move away from 360 recruitment roles.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast paced environment working on recruitment drives within the energy/infrastructure/construction sectors for projects based across the UK and Ireland.
Location: Northwich or Northampton
Salary: £20-25k depending on experience.
To be considered for this Internal Recruiter / Recruitment Coordinator position you will have:
A successful career history of working across the recruitment lifecycle to successfully identify, attract and manage high quality candidates.
Ability to build strong relationships with the management team.
A proactive approach to the recruitment process including attracting passive and active candidates using a variety of methods, completing initial screenings of candidates, setting up interviews, making offers of employment and ensuring the on boarding process is completed in a timely manner.
Strong computer literacy including skills with Excel e.g. data entry, basic formulas, graphs.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to tailor your communication line with the audience.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment where you will need to prioritise and re-prioritise work as required.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy when completing tasks.
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work successfully within a team.
Within this role as Internal Recruiter / Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Understanding the requirements of the business by liaising with the management team to understand current and future business needs and what exactly the roles are which need to be recruited for.
Maintaining dialogue with recruiting managers so they are fully informed on where their recruitment drives are up to e.g. providing market/candidate feedback, identifying problematic areas so requirements can be reviewed if appropriate.
Taking a proactive approach to candidate attraction.
Completing initial screening of candidates.
Shortlisting suitable candidates and making recommendations to recruiting managers.
Providing feedback to candidates including offers of employment.
Assisting in the setup of new starters within the HR system.
Completing HR administration tasks as required.
