What youll be doing:
As a Customer Service Associate youll be responsible for providing excellent service to customers at all stages of the recruitment journey, from on boarding new customers, to supporting with day to day queries.
Youll ensure that every interaction they have with The Share Centre is enjoyable and simple.
Youll also participate in relevant CASS training throughout the year.
Within the Contact Team function youll respond to incoming calls, outbound calls, emails, webchat, social media comments, letters and faxes. This could also include face-to-face customer contact.
Youll resolve and record all expressions of dissatisfaction and/or complaints on first contact, escalating to
the Quality & Resolution Team when necessary.
Within the administration function youll complete full onboarding of new accounts and processing legal
documentation, transferring investments and cash (in or out of the business).
Youll process all incoming and outgoing cash payments (including cheques, BACS and Faster Payments)
and update changes to the customer database for example change of address, bank details, setting up
Direct Debits and updating a variety of account information.
Within the Document Management function youll assist with opening, sorting and scanning of incoming post, electronically assigning post to customer records and maintaining daily statistics.

Youll need to be confident in being the first line of support for both existing and new customers and display excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Your proven experience in a Customer Service Associate role and environment will demonstrate strong self-motivation, problem solving skills, creativity and initiative.
Youll need to have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in any form of customer service.
IT skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook will be supported by well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
A willingness to be a team player as well as take the lead at times will be required.
As a Customer Service Associate youll have the passion to do the right thing for the customer and a willingness to go the extra mile.
