We are looking for an experienced teacher to work in a primary school in Rochdale and to support pupils aged between 3 and 11. Pupils at the school may experience moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). They may have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Visual or Hearing Impairment and/or Social Communication difficulties. The school has a dedicated staff team with many years of experience in teaching children with learning difficulties, autism, and physical needs. Pupils have access to a range of specialist facilities, rooms and spaces, these include:
A hydrotherapy pool
A specially designed sensory room
A light room
A soft play room
An art room,
A fullyequipped food technology room
An outdoor rebound trampoline
Specialist staff members: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists and speech and language therapists

Devising lesson plans that will interest pupils and keep them engaged
Delivering enthusiastic and information lessons to pupils
Tracking pupils progress and devising plans to increase progress based on success and weaknesses
Support the pupils and keep their selfesteem high and celebrate successes with them
The requirements for the role are:
A DBS on the update service
Experience as a teacher
A teaching qualification (NQTs are welcome)
A dedication to providing an outstanding learning experience
