At MarketTap, we are building the worlds leading platform that will change the way small businesses manage their marketing (an $87B market opportunity). We launched 2 years ago as a marketing service provider, and have since built a pay-as-you-go platform for on-demand services that allows businesses to book and manage their marketing services, all through one platform.
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) will lead and develop our channel partnershipprogram. The PDS will be the primary relationship with our channel partners andis responsible for pursuing new partners and generating referral customers fromour partners.

This role will include:Developinitial list of 100 prospective channel partnersCalllist and explain partnership opportunity call30 per daydevelopand send partner packagesworkto register partnerscontinueto build list of prospective partners 10-20 per dayWorkwith partners to identify clients who are prospects for MarketTaps servicesOnboardpartners with MarketTap marketing packages to effectively communicate MarketTapsoffering to their customersBuildcontent to provide valuable, exceptional experiences to our partners and theircustomers ex. whitepapers, webinars, etc. Ensurepartners are offering MarketTap services to their customers, or referringcustomers to us to meet monthly targetsWorkwith marketing and sales to nurture and close leads generated from partners
Skill Requirements:3+years in sales, business development or similar roleMustbe passionate about MarketTap being the best online marketing service providerfor small to mid sized businesses Strongsales and business development skillsTenaciousabout the follow up and holding partners accountable to hitting targetsMustbe a strong communicator, with exceptional phone and writing skills Mustwant to work hard and best the best at what he/she doesMustlike dealing with people and partners.
