SEMH Teaching Assistant: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated SEN LSA. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and assisting with special educational needs and have the ability facilitate the special requirements of their students.
TimePlan Education are proud to represent an OFSTED Outstanding coeducational SEN school situated in Tower Hamlets who is currently seeking a fulltime Learning Support Assistant to start in January 2019. The school cater to pupils aged 11 19 years old with severe and profound social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) complexities. The school offer a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum. As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant you will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey, taking into consideration factors both within and outside of education. The role will be varied and requires a flexible LSA who is confident working both 1:1 and at times, in a group setting whilst supporting the class teacher to ensure the individual needs of each pupil is met to maximise their full potential. The successful LSA will demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting teaching, ensuring pupils take full advantage of the safe and happy learning environment on offer by this commendable SEN school. Two recent references
Qualified to Level 2 as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent)
