Financial Crime Adviser
Our client s recruiting for a number of Customer Service Advisers to work in their Fraud support team within the RBS office located in Manchester
This is a chance to make a huge difference when people have been victims of fraud. Youll work with customers over the telephone, giving them essential support and dealing with a wide range of fraud queries.
Manchester RBS Hardman Boulevard is a great place to work with lots of onsite facilities such as a restaurant, within the prestigious location of Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre. With excellent transport links close by and discounted car parks on hand.
In Fraud & Chargeback Operations the things that make a difference will be what youll do every day. There to help customers if they lose money to fraud, and support them if theyre in disputes with retailers youll be at the forefront of protecting them and the bank from fraudsters.
To succeed in this role, you will:
Act as a trusted advisor to your customer on every call you take, listening carefully and asking the right questions
Understand the customers needs and concerns, and resolve them efficiently and effectively
Build and maintain a broad awareness of the techniques fraudsters use
Enjoy problem solving
The skills youll need
Youll have a natural flair and genuine desire for helping people. Great communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. You will be a passionate about delivery excellent customer service. You will also have;
Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build personal credibility, and engage with your customers on often sensitive issues
A keen eye for detail, allowing you to identify potential risks to the bank and our customers
The ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and to work well under pressure
A good level of IT Skills
What else youll need to know
As fraudsters never sleep, were here for our customers when they need us, so youll need to be flexible and able to commit to a rotating work pattern.
You will receive 68 week structured training programme to ensure you can deliver an excellent service to all of the Banks customers.
Youll get a competitive hourly rate of £10.31, with a 10% increment on shifts after 8pm, shifts after 10pm 25%.
As a Manpower employee you will receive weekly pay, 33 days holiday and a range of other benefits.
You must be able to pass RBS preemployment screening which includes a credit check and 2 years referencing.
