This is a great opportunity to work in a nursing home within the Walsall area.
The salary for this role is �40,000 per annum plus many other generous benefits and you will be working 37.5 hours per week.
Summary of key responsibilities:
The responsibilities linked to this position can be summarised as follows:
� Providing excellent resident care
� To assist with administrative duties.
� To assist in managing care home staff
� To assist with managing the work environment
� To follow work book and duties defined by the Care Home Manager
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager with the following experience: Excellent verbal and communication skills i.e. must be able to complete detailed Service User care plans, excellent organisational skills, Must be able to prioritise, Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative i.e. operating and leading a shift in absence of care home Manager, staff management, sound networking skills.
Experience and Job Related Knowledge
Previous experience working as a Nurse is essential
Previous supervisory and/or management experience is essential
Knowledge of health, safety and welfare
Experience of administrating drugs
Maintain a wide knowledge of current nursing practices
Assess own learning needs and accept responsibility for continuing education
You must be registered with the NMC as a Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Nurse and have at least 2 years experience in a senior role.
