Are you an Events Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
Based in CBBCs London office, we are seeking an Events Manager who will work closely with the rest of our network in organising and supporting a range of events in the UK. In addition to activities such as seminars, workshops, lunches and dinners, a key part of the role will involve coordinating with colleagues and partners in the UK and China in arranging events and visit programmes for visiting Chinese delegations. The role requires an energetic team player with good event management experience and excellent communication skills.
The Events Manager will report to the Events Director.
Key responsibilities include:
supporting colleagues in China to understand and agree objectives / deliverables for Chinese delegations visiting the UK
advising on and preparing events proposals
coordinating programmes and itineraries for delegation visits, including meetings, seminars, lunches/dinners
coordinating with third party suppliers for event management

High attention to detail
Selfmotivated and willing to be flexible on working hours
Creative, willing to learn and resourcefulness in order to meet event goals.
Mandarin skills essential
