Test Technician (Telecoms Hardware) Bristol £18,000 to £22,000

An innovative organisation is urgently seeking a new Test Technician with experience of testing Telecoms hardware to join their team in Bristol. They will provide you with a great career opportunity to work in a friendly environment where you will occasionally be required to work alongside other teams in the business to solve problems and technical issues.

You will be responsible for the testing of fiber optics transceivers and other telecoms / networking products prior to being sent to their clients. You will also support the development of new products alongside the engineering team and have input on how to improve test procedures and efficiency.

As the successful candidate you must have:

A strong willingness to learn about fibre optic transceivers and passive components in depth
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel and Ciena or similar hardware
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment

You will be rewarded with an excellent package that includes the following:

A generous salary of circa £18,000 £22,000 depending on experience
