Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work on a fulltime basis in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £24.26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 6month contract.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Speech And Language Therapy.
HCPC registered as a Therapist.
Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech And Language Therapist.
Experience in working with adults/older people in the field of neurology/neuro rehabilitation is essential.
Must be a car driver.
Responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapist:
To be responsible for the management of a caseload of adults with a wide range of neurological disorders offering specialist community and outpatient rehabilitation.
Assess and treat own caseload of patients including those with a complex and highly complex social, psychological, communication, and cognitive presentation, make a diagnosis, and to develop and deliver individualised treatment programmes using evidencebased practice, working towards clients goals. This often involves working as a lone clinician but also as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team.
