Associate Engineer Flood Risk and Drainage required for our client a leading independent consultancy based in their Woking office. Our client are specialists within Civil Engineering, Environmental, Transportation and Infrastructure and are seeking an Associate Engineer to help build a team within Flood Risk and Drainage.

The Ideal Associate Engineer will be currently working as a Principle / Associate Engineer within the Flood Risk and Drainage sector with an understanding of how the technical and financial aspects of a project run. The Associate Engineer will either be CEng or IEng with a proven track record for delivering projects on time and in budget as well as leading a team.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior or Principle Chartered Engineer to take a step up within their current career. Our client holds an impressive portfolio of projects inclusive of Commercial, Retail and Residential projects.

Associate Engineer Flood Risk and Drainage Position Overview

Building a Flood Risk and Drainage team
Win Flood Risk and Drainage work for the company whilst working on the current workload.
Develop the Flood Risk and Drainage area of the business to a sustainable business unit.
Mentor new members of the team.
Undertake technical and feasibility studies and site investigations
Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertake risk management in specialist roles
Supervise tendering procedures and put together proposals
Manage, supervise and visit contractors on site and advise

Associate Engineer Flood Risk and Drainage Position Requirements

Principle Chartered Engineer or Senior Engineer looking for next step or alternatively Associate Engineer seeking a fresh challenge
Proven background within Flood Risk and Drainage.
Generate new business within the Flood Risk and Drainage sector
Proven track record for delivering projects on time and in budget as well as leading a team.
understanding of how the technical and financial aspects of a project run
Highly motivated and articulate

Associate Engineer Flood Risk and Drainage Position Remuneration

Salary depending upon experience
25 days holiday + BH (extra days after 5 + 10 years service)
