About the job
Are you an experienced support worker who is confident to work with young people that present challenging behaviour?
We are currently supporting a client that provides support with care leavers and other disadvantaged teenagers.
Locations we cover:
Redbridge, Enfield, Havering, Essex, Hertfordshire, Harrow, Ealing, Richmond Upon Thames, Brent, Barnet
Pay starts at £8.50/ Hour
Full time hours guaranteed
Accrued Holiday pay (PAYE)
Opportunity to be paid on a 24 hours shift
Act as a key worker for young people; take responsibility for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of placement/support plans.
Staff will need to be aware and work in a proactive manner to ensure resident is supported effectively, feels secure and to support in reducing anxieties.
Work in conjunction with the Behaviour Support team enabling young people to manage their challenging behaviour
Following protocol and procedure to ensure safety for both staff and resident
reliable and engaging to ensure that care plans are met
Passionate about helping people and comfortable to work with behavioural difficulties
Good communication skills and computer literate
Active and engaging to help vulnerable young people to do various activities on and offsite
Flexible with shift patterns, can do 24 hours shift, sleep ins or waking nights
