As a Collections Advisor you can look forward to a starting salary of between £17,000 and £21,000 with up to a 10% annual bonus. Collections Advisors will be responsible for;
Collecting funds from customers on overdue accounts whilst rehabilitating customers to avoid repeat arrears
Providing an exceptional level of service across inbound and outbound calls ensuring TCF (treating customers fairly) procedures are followed
Identifying and being empathetic towards vulnerable customers
Debt collection for both unsecured and secured loan products
Adhering to internal and external compliance procedures
Ensuring customer complaints are handled and logged effectively
Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and efficiently
Collections Advisors will need;
Experience working in debt recovery is desirable if you are a Collections Advisor, Collections Specialist, Debt Recovery Advisor, Case Manager or Relationship Manager we would love to hear from you
We are also keen to hear from people with transferable skills who work in roles such as Sales Advisors, Customer Service Representatives, Retentions and Sales Executives
Financial services sector experience is desirable but not essential
A good level of education
Strong communication skills gained ideally in previous telephonybased roles and an empathetic approach
A positive cando approach
An investigative attitude with a desire to get to the bottom of customers situations and problems
