PreSales Architect Network Architecture
Opportunity to join a sizeable, wellestablished IT Consultancy and Managed Service Provider as a PreSales Architect. The business provides IT services and solutions into MidMarket, Enterprise scale businesses across networks, connectivity, cloud, voice and more.
Working within a busy PreSales team as a Networks and Connectivity focused PreSales Architect you will work to support the sales process, supporting sales and professional services teams by identifying customer technical and business requirements, designing and documenting recommended valuefocused solutions.
As a Network PreSales Architect you will focus primarily on WAN (MPLS) and SDWAN projects. The business has delivered a number of highprofile, successful SDWAN projects and is currently producing numerous SDWAN proposals each month. When youre not busy with WAN and SDWAN projects you will contribute to a broad range of solutions including LAN, Voice etc. You will work collaboratively with the wider team, supporting enterprise solutions encompassing Servers, Storage, Cloud (Azure, AWS), EndUser Computing etc.
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as the Technical lead on RFPs and bid reviews
Promoting the benefits and values of technical design features, mapping technical designs into business outcomes
Support Sales and Account Management teams as a Technical Consultant
Meet prospective and existing customers, to determine business and technical requirements
Produce and present Technical Solutions and supporting documentation, both highlevel and lowlevel (Network Diagrams etc)
Effectively handover solutions and support delivery and operational teams
Support Product Management teams to provide input around product development
To be considered for this position you will require:
Demonstrable experience of previous PreSales / Solutions Architecture
Strong examples of Network solution design and documentation
Sales acumen and strong presenting experience
Knowledge of networking and connectivity; MPLS and VPN routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper etc)
A strong understanding of Network Security
This is a mature work culture, providing flexible working and a great deal of opportunity for professional development. As such, you will need to be driven and selfmanaging.
Location: Flexible, however you will be required to visit company offices in London, Berkshire or the Midlands for key meetings etc. You will also be required to travel to customer sites frequently, UK wide.
The position will pay: a basic salary of up to £60,000, car allowance of circa £5,000 and uncapped commission (20% paid monthly, based on team performance.. with a very healthy pipeline for 2019).
