1st line support technician, 2nd line support technician, IT field engineer, projects engineer
Having experienced tremendous growth, a leading IT managed service provider is expanding their team and have great opportunity for a project engineer to join their growing team. If you have a great personality, able to work as part of a team completing technical projects and be able to engage clients then we would like to hear from you.
You will be expected to research, plan, implement, document and support IT projects for clients across South Wales. The role will be 70% office based and 30% field based, travel to other group sites may also be required, which means a full UK clean licence will be a vital factor for your application to be considered.
There are many duties associated with this role which will ensure no two days are ever the same making the environment an interesting place to work, some of the duties of the role are below:
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications • Talking clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone to resolve any issues • Trouble shooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving any hardware or software faults • Replacing parts as required with any faulty machinery • Responding within agreed time limits to logged calls meeting all SLAs
1-2 years' experience in a similar role Excellent customer service skills (e-mail, phone or face-to-face) IT Support experience would be beneficial Ability to work independently Full UK Driving License (essential)
