A SEN school near Guildford specialising in Autism and Speech and Language Needs are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. You will support students aged 719, helping them to access an interactive and practical curriculum and of course get stuck into the fun outdoor educational trips and activities!

Your responsibilities will include:
Taking part in and supervising outdoor activities and educational trips
Supporting the general wellbeing of learners
Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
Supervising and striving to improve behaviour
Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
Own means of transport is essential
Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
