JOB TITLE: INBOUND MANAGER

£30K SALARY, FANTASTIC BONUSES, HEALTH INSURANCE

Our client is the worlds largest online sports nutrition retailer and is looking for an experienced Manager to join the team within the Inbound and Inventory department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage, develop and evaluate direct reports Plan the staffing schedules according to Deliverys, Cycle Counts and Replenishment Implement, monitor, coach and review staff KPIs Ensure all deliveries are fully received within 24 hours of receipt Follow up immediately on delivery issues with the appropriate staff or department Communicate to relevant department on any noncompliance of deliveries Ensure all Processes are being followed as per SOP standards Drive standards to have all receipted goods put away within the 24hour period Follow up with staff on any failings of standards Monitor that all stages of the delivery process have been completed accurately Ensure goods are put away into the correct locations Report any product issues and overages to the buyer, FC Manager or relevant department Communicate shipment discrepancies to the buyer and FC Manager. To plan and develop a systematic schedule for meeting the Company Cycle Count targets within a set time period, ensuring a full count of SKUs has taken place Chart the efficiency and accuracy of staff in the Cycle count process Personally, follow up and investigate all discrepancies as well as random checks to support accuracy findings Make stock adjustments on cycle count discrepancies only after exhaustive investigations Ensure Expiry data is gathered and dealt with according to the SOP in a timely manner Ensure the Daily Replenishment is carried out in the most efficient manner, monitoring, by way of reports to indicate individual staff efficiency each day Both customer and nondelivered returns must be dealt with according to the Company targeted time scale Manage and maintain all company powered equipment i.e. Reach trucks, Order pickers, Forklifts, etc. Ensure the Daily FLT checks are being carried out and report any findings to the FC Manager immediately Take full responsibility for all Health and Safety compliance and legislation, guiding staff accordingly to best practice at all times Set, develop and maintain high standards of House Keeping in all areas, especially for Goods In and designated warehouse areas. Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required to complete daily tasks To be responsible for driving the Waste cost down by maintaining good practices and reporting Vendor damage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Previous working experience of both Inbound and Inventory Management roles, ideally in an On Line Retail environment Excellent man management skills with the ability to train, develop and motivate staff to achieve better results Ability to manage under performance through Coaching and Counselling process Selfmotivated with a leadership style of hands on approach whilst being able to think strategically in an often fast moving environment Embrace change, looking for continuous operational improvements and reflect a positive can do attitude at all times, upholding the BB.com ethos of Customer Focus Excellent communication skills at a crossfunctional level throughout the company, both leading and contributing to staff and team meetings Excellent time management and task management skills IT literate with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point skills in conjunction with strong organisational abilitys Good reporting skills, both verbally and documented with clear and detailed analysis Commercially aware of the financial demands of working towards a cost per order business Fork Lift Truck Certification would be desirable, but training would be provided Health and Safety aware with the ability to carry out Risk Assessments First Aid and Fire Marshall would be desirable Must be security conscious with a requirement to be a Key Holder to maintain building integrity Must be flexible in approach to work hours and days with occasional weekend working required

Education and Experience:

You will need to have good knowledge within Inbound/Inventory and Stock management, ideally with at least 2 years experience at Managerial level working in a fulfilment centre or a pick and pack operation Demonstrable experience of bringing improvements to the work place Good knowledge of Inbound and Inventory management with a strong emphasis on analytical reporting Has had exposure to all aspects of a Fulfilment Operation and feels confident in dealing in these areas in a time critical manner Experienced in leading a team of reports and having the ability to influence change Capable of multitasking and prioritising a busy work load Able to work with key people in other departments The ability to communicate effectively at all levels in all areas of the business Preferably a car driver
