We currently have a fantastic new opportunity for a Registered Mental Nurse or Registered Nurse for Learning Disabilities to join one of the leading care companies in the UK. The organisation is a low secure hospital in Buxton on the outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk. Set in a rural environment, but with easy access to Norwich town centre, the Hospital provides a calm, therapeutic atmosphere with a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. Specific specialist low secure services are provided for both children and adolescents (CAMHS) and adults with mental health disorders within separate, segregated areas of the site. All services are provided within safe, therapeutic, purpose built environments and strictly comply with national standards for low secure services. In addition, the Hospital also offers a Transitional service which bridges the gap between CAMHS and Adult Mental Health services enabling a smoother, more positive transition, particularly for those with complex needs where chronological age does not always indicate a readiness for transfer. The ideal candidate will work 37.5 hours per week and will be paid a competitive salary of 25,959 - 31,977 plus other generous benefits. The right candidate will have the following skills which are essential for this role:
- Worked with personality disorders, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum.
- Experience of working with challenging behaviour
- Forensic background
- Excellent Nursing Experience
