UNIT MANAGER (Nurse) - Care Home - £18 per hour
Holsworthy Care Home - Good CQC Rating
Devon > Holsworthy EX22
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic nurse with a passion for elderly care, to work at a highly regarded care home.
Pay rate up to £18 per hour (depending on experience, skills, and qualifications)
Day OR Night shifts available, according to preference
Flexibility on shifts is available.
ROLE SUMMARY - Providing high quality nursing care to service users, showing compassion, care and commitment to making a real different to their lives. - Managing care staff. - Ensuring that high standards of personal care and support are provided to service users, in line with CQC standards. - Contribute to the on going assessment of service users. - Communication with service users, their relatives, friends, professional helpers etc. - Liaise with outside agencies, e.g. G.P, District Nurse, Social Worker, housing providers etc. - Administration of medications. - Wound Care. - End of Life Care. - Dementia Care. - Chronic Disease management.
REQUIREMENTS - Registered nurse with current and valid NMC registration - Able to communicate fluently in English (speaking, listening and writing).

Your application will be favourably considered for this Care Home / Nursing Home if have any experience working in any of the following jobs roles (or higher):
Clinical Lead, Lead Nurse, Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, Head of Unit, Senior Nurse, Band 6 Nurse or otherwise possessing strong leadership qualities along with relevant experience in any of the following positions:-Care Home Nurse, Nursing Home Nurse, Elderly Care Nurse, Geriatric Care Nurse, Band 5 Staff Nurse, Home Care Nurse, Medical Ward Care Nurse, Surgical Ward Care Nurse, Acute Hospital Nurse, Primary Care Nurse, Community Nurse, Practice Nurse, Disability Assessment Nurse, School Nurse, Travel Nurse
We will also consider your application if you are a Student Nurse or Undergraduate Nurse interested to work in a Care Home or Nursing Home.
You must also hold a valid and active Nurse registration with the UK Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC)
