Job Title: Infrastructure Administrator
Salary: £32,000 £42,000
About the Infrastructure Administrator Role: This role sits within a UK wide team, operating on a shared service model and has responsibility for the companies monitoring solutions whilst providing support and working on continuous improvement and specific project work. This role is heavily Microsoft focussed.
You will share responsibility for creating plans to meet needs, issues and obstacles, defining roadmaps then overseeing these in production, overall platform performance, monitoring of HP OMI, servers and systems as a whole, rolling out of system upgrades and changes and identifying areas of improvement, new trends and new technology releases that would offer an advantage or improvement to the company.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
Specific HP OMI experience would be a massive advantage Competence across the Microsoft stack Ability to identify gaps, issues and obstacle in a proactive manner Experience monitoring Networks, Middleware, DC, Virtual (especially), Database and Application spaces. Excellent communication skills
