Make a difference for older and disabled people using care at home
UKHCA is the national professional association for homecare agencies that supply services which enable people with care and support needs to remain independent at home.
We are the voice of homecare providers and campaign for the right economic and regulatory conditions and we support organisations to deliver high quality services which meet people's individual needs.
You will work directly with, and deputise for, UKHCA's Policy and Campaigns Director. You will help develop the Association's messages to maximise our reach and impact with government policymakers, homecare providers and stakeholders across a range of print, broadcast and social media, including at UKHCA.
The role will include designing ways to gather robust data and undertaking analysis of the homecare sector, including the use of Freedom of Information legislation and on-line surveys to deliver impactful evidence which gets reported on national news programmes.
You will also be able to take UKHCA's bi-monthly magazine, "Homecarer", to the next level of production and will support the Policy and Campaigns Director in engagement with professional journalists.
