Investigo is delighted to be working with a professional business based in Waterloo, London.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for processing high volume invoices, payment runs, payroll submissions, reconciliations and undertaking a wide variety of accounting responsibilities.
Daily duties will involve:
Entering supplier invoices
Dealing with supplier query
Preparing daily and weekly payment runs
Ensuring all items payments are approved
Manage company petty cash
Mobile / landline expense control and analysis
Preparation of weekly payroll information
Upload monthly pension file and payments
Dealing with all payroll queries for employees
Dealing with emplyee cases, i.e. wage concerns, requests for advances, etc.
Assisting team with reconciling invoicing days against payroll days
Debtors and Revenue
Responsibility for monthly client billing
Ensuring all credit notes are appropriately approved
Constant forecasting and monitoring of client payments
Production of monthly flash revenue info
Posting revenue journals
Forecasting cash receipts
Controlling referring agents commission and dealing with queries and monthly accrual
Ensuring there are correct contracts in place prior to service commencing
Changes to client billing
Set up standing orders
Implement and control direct debit collections
Assistance with monthly variance reporting
Assistance with Ad Hoc projects
National Statistics Surveys
Assistance with preparation of monthly CEO information
If you have gained a minimum of 1 year of experience working within a finance function and have gained experience processing payroll this role would be a great route to gain more exposure within your finance career.
