About the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small but busy HR team within a rapidly growing Financial Services company, based in Reigate, Surrey.

This role is a fixedterm position for an initial period of 46 months, but may be extended further. Working in a small HR team reporting to the HR Manager, you will assist in supporting the growth of the business

The ideal candidate will have previous recruiting experience who is used to high volume and able to prioritise workload effectively. They must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, confidence, be articulate and enjoy working in a challenging and demanding environment.

As a Resourcing Assistant/Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Developing job advertisements and adverting online
Sourcing, managing and building relationships with candidates
Screening applications, shortlisting and booking interviews
Coordinating Assessment Centres
Conducting preemployment vetting, including credit checks, DBS checks and obtaining references
Prepare all new starter files and organise the archiving of leaver files
Creation of offer letters, new contracts, variations of contracts and adhoc employee correspondence
Recruitment reporting and data analysis
Maintenance of employee files
Supporting line managers and sitting on the interview panel

Essential Skills

Experience working within an internal recruitment function/role


12 years recruitment agency experience with an interest in internal HR recruitment

Desirable Skills

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, or hold the Level 3 or working towards a CIPD qualification
Intermediate IT and Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent eye for detail
Interpersonal and communication skills which are able to be adapted to a range of situations
The ability to demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality in appropriate circumstances
