About the job

Are you a CACHE level 2 or 3 nursery nurse in Bury and are looking for flexible working hours? Do you have access to transport and are looking for an exciting new change to your career path? Then we have the job for you!

A lovely new nursery is looking to take on both part time and full time workers with great experience working with a variety of ages in a nursery environment. These nurseries have received great feedback from Ofsted and are proud to have won a variety of different awards for their childcare. Not only would you be joining a great and inclusive team but youll have the ability to show your skills within a childcare environment and potentially move up in your career path. There is potential to work within different rooms of the nursery to expand your experience working with different age groups. Some further responsibilities of the role include:

  • Safeguarding children on a daily basis to ensure health and safety at all times
  • Helping with potty training and changing nappies when required
  • Working with a variety of ages between 05 years old
  • Applying the EYFS framework to activities to ensure a healthy development for the children
  • Working within a team to keep positive relationships both inside the nursery and outside with parents/careers of the children

  • Must be excellent at understanding safeguarding and its importance in a child care environment
  • Have great communication skills that can be applied to a variety of individuals
  • Have a positive outlook in difficult situations so help create good impressions on the developing children
  • Have an up to date DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new one
  • Have experience in a childcare environment within the last 5 years that will be able to provide a full and positive reference
