The School of Business and Law has doubled its income in the last five years. We are seeking a new colleague to help us to achieve our strategic goals of enhancing our students' academic experience and future employability prospects and supporting our business community through research-informed teaching and knowledge exchange activity. The Accounting field is strong and our undergraduate degree programme in Accounting and Finance are accredited by ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA and CPA Australia.
You will teach graduate and undergraduate modules in Financial Accounting and other related topics including Business Law and Taxation. In addition to the teaching commitments you will be expected to add significantly to our research and/or consultancy profile and to knowledge exchange within the subject area and to contribute to programme management.
You will have a professional qualification or PhD (or completion by January 2015) in a relevant accounting field with a demonstrated research or knowledge exchange track record. A commitment to the quality of our students' experience in a highly diverse and multicultural environment is essential.
