in-Point Health and Home Care are excited to be expanding our services by establishing a new recruitment division focusing on providing Care professionals throughout North East Scotland.
Due to expansion we are looking for Care Assistants in Huntly who are looking for flexible full-time or part-time hours on an ongoing basis to support our clients needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assisting Residents as required with washing, dressing, toileting and undressing whilst encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.
Providing assistance during meal times, ensuring that residents have a pleasant dining experience.
Be familiar with residents care plans and providing person centred care in accordance with this.
Treating all residents with respect and ensuring their privacy, dignity and right of choice is considered at all times.
Assisting with residents activities
Communicate effectively with staff, residents, relatives and visitors.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 6 months experience in the last year in a similar role
SVQ or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Driving Licence would be preferred but not essential
