Do you have a passion for helping young people with physical and learning disabilities? Can you communicate well with students, teachers and parents? Can you make a difference in these young peoples lives?
We have an urgent need for a number of Learning Support Assistants to work with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 groups in a Wrexham school.
These positions are ongoing and expected to run for the rest of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for people with the right qualification and experience.

In order to be considered for this post, you will be required to:
Have experience of working with young people in wide range of settings
Be able to provide a childcare reference from a previous employer
Have knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural and physical needs of pupils
Have an interest in how young people learn and behave
Provide appropriate role models of behaviour both in the classroom and around school
Really care about young people but particularly those who find learning and managing their behaviour difficult
Your responsibilities will include:
Promoting a caring environment and providing a high standard of care
Ensuring effective communication with staff and students
Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote active listening and development
Maintaining high standards of safety
Implementing students care plans appropriately
