Category: Academic | Department: Distance Education and Professional Development | Closing Date: 29 Nov 2015 | A Student Support Administrator is required within the School's Distance Learning Office from January 2016 to cover maternity leave for one year. Applicants must have a minimum of one year's proven administrative experience in a student support environment preferably in a higher education setting, together with experience of organising a busy workload, assessing priorities and working closely within a team. The post involves acting as a first point of contact for queries from registered students throughout the world, maintenance of student records and a Virtual Learning Environment, administration of coursework and examinations, committee servicing, and working with information of a confidential nature. The post involves dealing with significant amounts of e-mail correspondence and therefore a high standard of written and spoken English skills, and familiarity with using e-mail, is essential.
