Hours Rotated 5 over 7 days as per Private site Requirements (only 1 in 3 weekends expected)

Working across the UK within 60 Miles of your location or Hotels covered if over 60 Miles. (Shopping Centres, Supermarkets, Airports, Markets, Shows, Exhibitions, gazebo pitches)

About us

BRC Promotions is an industry leading fundraising agency promoting charitable lottery subscriptions based in Stockport operating in venues nationwide.

By working on behalf of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and generating new players for their Weekly Lottery, you will help them fund vital research into heart and circulatory diseases, and risk factors like Diabetes.

You may know the BHF for their research into heart disease, however, our research starts with your heart, but doesnt stop there.

Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular Dementia. Diabetes. Theyre all connected by the circulatory system, and theyre all under our microscope. Were funding vital research into all of these conditions, with the aim of beating the heartbreak that they cause forever.

Around 7 million people in the UK are living with heart and circulatory diseases, so every new lottery player that you sign up help will help fund the vital research that will change the lives of all of the families affected.

We are looking for professional, ethical and motivated individuals with exceptional people skills to join our successful team, and help the BHF beat heartbreak forever. This is not your conventional sales job; we pride ourselves on being the most ethical and professional fundraising specialist in the market, and delivering a fundraising experience that meets not only our own high standards, but also those of our charity clients.

The position

Reporting to the Regional Manager and typically working in a small team of two, your main duties and responsibilities will be:

Managing the stand at the venues, attracting and interacting with prospective supporters.
Having great conversations with people discussing the charity youre representing, explaining what the fundraising goes towards and the benefits of the charity lottery.
Signing up high quality supporters, some of which may have a personal connection to the cause, and completing subscriptions using our secure PDA system.
Representing our clients proudly and professionally, becoming a brand ambassador for the charity whilst fundraising.

About you

Our fundraisers are important to our organisation, so the right fit is vital. Previous fundraising, direct sales, venue sales, door to door canvassing or face to face sales is essential. But above all, its about who you are as a person. We need you to be charismatic, friendly, passionate, and an engaging communicator.

As this is a venue based role so you will need to be physically able to be on your feet for the duration of the day. A drivers license is also an essential requirement.
