Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/ Production)
12 hour shifts, days and nights rotating
£30,000 to £36,000 per annum + Overtime Rates + 28 Days Holiday (including Bank Holidays) + Sick Pay
Maintenance Engineer required for a local and well established production site. This is a great opportunity to work in a company that are expanding and can offer overtime opportunities and on the job training to the right individual.
The successful candidate will ideally be mechanically biased or multiskilled with a mechanical qualification. You will have experience of conveyors, gears, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics. Any welding and fabrication experience is highly desired. You will have previous working experience within any industrial, production, agricultural, ex forces or manufacturing industry.
Your role will be to work in a small team of Maintenance Engineers on reactive and planned maintenance across site. You will get involved with small amounts of project work to improve performance across site with the focus being on site expansion and moving towards a more dedicated PPM schedule. You will also get involved with general site maintenance as required.
The company are renowned in their industry for the quality of their product. The environment is modern but agricultural and so candidates must be happy to work outside as required.

The Maintenance Engineer:
- Holds a mechanical qualification.
- Experience of hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors.
- Welding experience highly desired.
- Comes from any manufacturing, industrial, production, ex forces or similar background.
